17.1 SendToVIP

The SendToVIP plugin allows pages to be sent directly into the flatplan direct from Indesign.

Title
Select the desired title from the dropdown list.

Issue
Select the issue from the dropdown list.

Page Type
The page type dropdown allows you to filter the type of marker you wish to send your page to. The list includes Ed, Ad Display, Ad Classified, Ad Recruitment and Ad Advertorial.

Upload Spread
Choose the individual page or spread in Indesign you wish to send.

Marker
Select the marker you wish to send the page to from the dropdown list. The corresponding position and folio number will be returned automatically in the Position and Folio Numbers dropdown. Alternatively select the clipboard.

Position
If the selected marker exists over more than one page position select the required position you wish to send your page to. The folio number will update automatically.

Folio Number
Select the required folio number you wish to send the page to. The Marker and Position dropdowns will update automatically.

Close
Closes the SendToVIP interface without sending the page.

Send For Production
The send for production button will deliver your entire Indesign document and elements to the VIP server for planning by our staff. A marker position must be selected prior to sending. This button may not appear depending on prior agreements made between the Publisher and FMG.

Send For Approval
The send for approval button will send your page to the selected marker position.

Spot Colour
Tick on to preserve spot colours setup in the Indesign document.
