7 Pages in the Flatplan

7.1 Pages

A page refers to any advert or editorial content that has been sent to a marker via the SendToVIP plugin, or uploaded via the VIP uploader. Pages are like virtual mini proofs that are free to move around the flatplan to any empty page position or even to the clipboard. They are the physical representation of your page and are invisibly linked to your print ready PDF on the VIP system.

7.2 Page Statuses

Page statuses are determined by the stage of production your page is in. If a page has just arrived it will default to Awaiting Approval status. As a page goes through the approval cycle its status is updated automatically.

7.3 Page Types

All pages within the system are either Editorial or Advert type. This type is indicated by the small triangular label on each page. The label will turn red if an Ad or Ed page is placed into a container with a marker type that does not match the page type.
