9 Movement

The following chapter describes how to move elements around the flatplan or to the clipboard.

9.1 Moving Pages

To move a page drag and drop the thumbnail to any empty page position on the flatplan or alternatively into the clipboard.

9.2 Moving Markers

To move a marker to a new position click and hold the marker bar and drag to a new position on the flatplan. The target location must be empty.

9.3 Moving Markers with Pages

To move a marker and its occupied page(s) click and drag the marker bar. The target location must have the correct number of empty page containers in order to successfully perform the move. To help with this the pages and markers will shrink into a stack with a number in the bottom right hand corner to indicate the amount of pages in the stack.

9.4 The Clipboard

The clipboard acts as a holding area for content. The clipboard can hold full editorial pages, full page adverts, part page adverts, and even stacks. The clipboard is designed to accommodate single or double pages or entire marker and page stacks. The view can be switched from thumbnail to list view, and pages can be searched using the filter window.
