8.1 Proof Launcher Zoom

Use the proof launcher zoom slider to zoom in and out of a page. Click and hold to pan around the page.

8.2 The Approval Cycle

Approve
To set the page to approved status click the approve button.

Decline
To reject the page from the flatplan click the decline button.

EdApprove
To approve an editorial part page click the edapprove button. An eps of the page will be made available for download in the EDS folder in the image library.

8.3 Actions - Proof Positive

To view the page in a high resolution softproof environment click the proof positive button.

Annotations
Annotations can be made on a page using the create note and pen tools. Email notification can optionally be sent back to the VIP team for amendments to be made.

Automatic Email Notification
If your title is configured to send email notification automatically simply make your annotations then close the page. An email will be sent to the VIP team with details of the annotations you have made so we can act on them.

Manual Email Notification
If your title is configured to send email notification manually then an email will only be sent when you choose to do so. To trigger an email go to the blue question mark found in the top right of the page. From the drop down menu select 'Approve'. This will approve the annotations on the page and send an email to the VIP team. The email will contain details of the annotations you have made so the VIP team can act on them.

8.4 Actions - Download PDF

The Download PDF button allows you to save the high resolution print ready PDF to your desktop.

8.5 Actions - Download Assets

Click Download Assets to download the indesign document and all related images for the page you are viewing to your local machine. The assets are stored as a compressed zip file to minimize downloading time.

8.6 Actions - Request Hard Proof

To request a paper based proof click the request hard proof button. Fill out the form and once submitted an email will be sent to FMG to action the proof.

8.7 Actions - Download Preflight Report

The preflight report will download to a location of your choice. Open in acrobat reader to list and view images below the recommended minimum resolution.
